Many churches need to be envisioned before they are ready to be mobilised. In other words, they need to understand their role in serving the community before they are prepared to take action.
This section explores ways in which churches and Christian organisations can be envisioned to carry out integral mission.
Occasionally it may be necessary to assess an organisation or church denomination’s past or current involvement in integral mission to know how best to envision them.
Click here for a brief guide on how to make an assessment of a church or organisation’s involvement in integral mission.
In this section we outline four approaches to envisioning Christian organisations and churches:
1. Running workshops on integral mission for church leaders and Christian organisations
2. Awareness-raising research
3. Organising learning visits
4. Supporting champions of integral mission
5. Hosting or participating in a National Conversation on Integral Mission
Micah Network’s integral mission website contains contributions from groups in many different countries around the world, sharing their experiences of envisioning and mobilising churches for Integral Mission. Click here to visit the site. Visit the regional groups to find out what is happening.
