DOCS
DOCS HEAL Africa (Health, Education, Community Action and Leadership) trains professionals and promotes healing in Africa through a wide range of programs. They give continuing medical education and clinical training for doctors. They respond to the needs of HIV and AIDS, orphans and women who are victims of violence in Goma, North Kivu Province of DR Congo and Rwanda.
Food Security
Tearfund has been working on building resiliency of communities through integrated responses. This workshop report on natural medicines is just one of the ways in which Tearfund is working with partners in this area.
HIV Mainstreaming
Tearfund has been working on external mainstreaming of HIV and AIDS in their Disaster Management Team Programmes, which are working in relief situations. A workbook is available for download.
Tearfund partner work
IMCARES – runs a project called IMPACT which is Inter-mission prevention of AIDS through care and training. This project reaches out to the poorest of the poor vulnerable to HIV & AIDS
TASK
TASK is a local NGO that has developed from the initial ministry of Servants to Asia's Urban Poor. TASK believes in a holistic approach to Christian ministry and has tried to live this out for the last decade among the poor in Mean Chey District, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, by responding to the greatest needs of the poorest people through demonstrating compassion, giving care and sharing their faith.

CHO
One of CHO’s objectives is to promote enhanced primary health care and HIV/AIDS care by providing training, mixed media presentations and liaising with local authorities and other organizations. We also facilitate HIV home-care support.
Freedom ministries
The Freedom Drug and HIV programme has conducted a 160 hour, one year extensive course for selected youth leaders from 47 NGOs on evidence-based fostering resiliency to HIV and AIDS
PMTCT
Tearfund has been conducting a study highlighting the opportunities and challenges faced by the Christian faith-based communities in scaling up PMTCT in Africa. This report will be available later in 2006.
ECFE
This study reviewed the child HIV counseling activities in a newly-started hospital-based child VCT site. It considers the need and constraints, and suggests ways of solving the problems that arise in child VCT in Sub-Saharan Africa.
