Hannah Swithinbank is Tearfund’s Theology & Network Engagement Manager. She is responsible for theological research, training and development with Tearfund’s staff and partners. Her main focus is on understanding the way that Christian ideas about justice and human flourishing relate to international development and humanitarian work. Her job involves helping Tearfund to express its faith well in the various contexts in which it works.

Hannah is also a writer and historian, with a PhD in Ancient History from the University of St Andrews. In her spare time she develops her interests in politics and culture, and takes a lot of photographs.
